The Challenge

CloudBridge Solutions had outgrown their off-the-shelf CRM. Their sales team of 60+ reps was managing leads across spreadsheets, disconnected email threads, and a legacy tool that could not handle their custom qualification pipeline. Reporting took days to compile manually, and management had no real-time visibility into pipeline health or rep performance.

They needed a purpose-built platform that matched their unique sales process — from lead capture through multi-stage qualification to closed-won handoff — without the licensing costs of enterprise CRM giants.

Our Approach

We built a fully custom CRM on Laravel 11 with FilamentPHP 3 powering the admin interface. The architecture centered on a PostgreSQL database with a carefully normalized schema supporting multi-tenant workspaces, role-based access control, and audit logging for every record change.

Key implementation decisions included using Redis for real-time dashboard metric caching, a queue-driven notification system for lead assignment alerts, and a bulk import pipeline capable of ingesting 50,000 contacts from CSV in under 30 seconds. The FilamentPHP admin panel gave us rapid development of CRUD interfaces while still allowing deep customization of the pipeline Kanban board and analytics widgets.

We delivered the project in iterative two-week sprints, with the client’s sales leadership reviewing progress at every milestone.
