The Challenge

Jabatan Laut Malaysia (the Marine Department) manages large volumes of maritime operational data under the national e-Navigation initiative. The department needed a secure, centralised platform to manage, monitor, and maintain this data reliably.

Our Approach

We support and operate the Maritime Data Management (MDM) platform on the eNav domain:

  • Secure access — role-based account login for department officers and administrators.
  • Real-time updates — live data push to dashboards via SignalR.
  • Operational data management — DataTables-driven admin screens over the department’s maritime records.
  • Resilient data layer — MongoDB with replication for high availability.
  • Ongoing modernisation — a Laravel-based v2 rebuild is in progress alongside continued operation of the current system.
