MATCA — Air Traffic Controllers Association Portal

The Challenge

The Malaysia Air Traffic Controllers Association (MATCA) — the professional body representing the nation’s air traffic controllers, affiliated with IFATCA — needed an official online home: a place to recruit members, publish association activities, and represent the profession publicly under its motto, “For the Nation and Profession.”

Our Approach

We delivered the association’s official portal on WordPress with Elementor:

• Membership recruitment with a prominent “Join MATCA” flow for prospective members.
• Events showcase — Merdeka Day rides, family camps, futsal and golf tournaments, mental-health workshops (Critical Incident Stress Management), and international engagements such as IFATCA APRM and the AEROTHAI technical visit.
• Gallery and merchandise sections for the association community.
• Editorial-friendly CMS so the association’s exco could publish updates themselves.

Results

• A professional public presence for Malaysia’s air traffic controller community.
• A self-service platform the association managed independently.
• The portal has since been retired; this capture is preserved via the Internet Archive.
