The Challenge

KAFA (Kelas Al-Quran dan Fardhu Ain) Islamic primary education across Selangor involves many teachers, classes, and administrative processes managed by Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor (JAIS). The department needed a single online system to manage teachers and operations.

Our Approach

We built e-GKAFA on Laravel with a FilamentPHP back office and role-aware portals:

  • Officer (Pegawai) portal for administration, records, and oversight.
  • Teacher (Guru) portal for teacher-facing tasks and submissions.
  • Multi-panel architecture with language and panel switching.
  • Records management for KAFA teachers, classes, and supporting data.

Results

  • A centralized system for managing KAFA teachers and operations.
  • Clear separation between administrative and teacher experiences.
  • A maintainable admin interface for day-to-day departmental use.
